Writtenin the stars so long ago - beyond centuries, beyond the eaons, and before time even existed - the Divine lovingly offered us a choice.Evolve. Or Stay the same. And you and I raised our hands, in order to evolve, and volunteered to initiate a grand new experiment called humanity.
We said yes, I will. I will travel to a landfar away, temporarily blinded by illusions and covered with an important and useful veil. I will walk from desert to ocean, metaphorically and literally, over about a century. I say yes knowing that I will be embroiled in tribulations and turmoils ---war, strife, tragedy, trauma, and disease - and to cope with it all –I will be offered nefarious lies disguised as truth – often from men in robes & pointy hats, acting as the opiate of the masses. WE SAID YES to this glorious invention called free will that does not exist from whence we came.
We said YES to the human experiment knowing that unconscious, misguided individuals may project their distortions onto us. We said YES to the human experiment, fully aware that we would be spurned, judged, made to feel less than - and told that we are NOT worthy as we are.
In believing these lies, we will experience great pains that give birth to mental, emotional, and physical scars. We said YES to the experience of great contrast, great duality, and great polarity - for all three are the necessary ingredients for a fabulous dish known asevolution of the soul.
And, despite all this, and in this grand game – this Grand Mystery called human life – there will be COLOR. There will be richness. There will be tender forehead kisses from grandmothers and family that love us, subtle echos & whispers from friends who have dropped their bodies and flown home, thrills and joys that result from infatuation and new love,ocean waves that lull us with precious melodies, rainbows that ignite the sparkle of AWE in our eyes, charcuterie, wine, chocolate,dancing, music - and vulnerable heart shares from new friends and old. And perhaps most of all - there will be copius amounts of laughter. Silly, fun, and often ridiculous laughter.
Andultimately, after an important length of time has passed on our colorful journey of free will, we will arrive back at our origin - atthe Truth ---- the still, silent, stable, and SIMPLE Truth – which is that we ARE the absolute perfection and manifestation of brilliant, radiant, and glowing Unconditional Love – in all of its shapes, sizes, appearances, and forms.
And now in this seasonof our lives, we release the burdens that have kept us small – as we proudly sing songs that honor our unique, sacred, and HOLY personal medicine. We affirm and declare our hopes and dreams,visions and goals, aspirations and Truths.
Andthe ONE Truth, The ONLY Truth, that matters is emblazened into the fabric of our hearts:
